Welcome to Illuminare.
What’s included
- 6 Nights Stay6 nights/7 days in a boutique hotel reserved just for our group in the heart of historic Porto
- Accommodation OptionsBoth Double and Single accommodations available (Single in very limited quantity)
- BreakfastDelicious breakfast will be provided at our retreat home each morning
- One main meal per dayOne main meal per day will be provided (dinner or lunch depending on the day's schedule) and of course wine is always included
- Private toursPrivate expert tours by local professional tour guides
- Transportation w/groupAll transportation during group activities/excursions is included when driving is required. We will be walking plenty, too. (Please note: Porto is full of stairs & hills)
- Wine Tour in DouroValleyA day trip to the Douro Valley to take in the stunning sights & tastes of this famous wine region
- Travel GuideYou'll receive a custom travel guide to aid you in your travel planning

- AirfareAttendees are responsible for their own airfare
- Transport to/fromAttendees are responsible for their transportation to/from our retreat home before/after the retreat.
- Some mealsAttendees will have free time to explore the city & be able to pop into restaurants for some meals on their own.
- Travel InsuranceAttendees are encouraged to purchase trip insurance on their own. Refunds are NOT available; travel insurance is inexpensive & highly recommended to all attendees.

Scotland was an absolute dream. It was a trip that I’ll never forget. It filled my heart and my belly. This was my 2nd retreat with Illuminare. Each trip is different and unique in so many ways. It always has me coming back for more.
If you’re thinking about it, just do it. Step out of your comfort zone and let yourself be taken care of. You’ll meet some amazing women and have incredible experiences. Just book the trip! You won’t regret it.

The Cotswolds was my first trip with Illuminare and Amanda and I was absolutely blown away. So much thought and detail is put into these trips, I think it was the first vacation I’ve ever taken where I was able to shut off my brain and just be present and enjoy myself (and relax!!). Amanda is an incredible host and attracts such inspiring, smart, and giving women whose company makes the trip even better. From the food to the daily activities, down to the nightly surprises on our pillows - everything was above and beyond my expectations. I enjoyed it so much that I signed up for another one within days of returning home. Thank you Amanda for creating such a life giving trip.

How do you describe the indescribable?! This trip was so much more than the destination. The Cotswolds was incredible, living up to everything I imagined and more. But the retreat, led by Amanda, was the real experience of a lifetime! The refined details, thoughtful touches and highly curated experiences left us all in awe at every turn. She surprises in the best way and perfectly balances site-seeing and shopping with soul-searching and moments of stillness. Creating real connections with like-minded moms was the cherry. Can't say enough, clearly!

The Cotswolds retreat was my first retreat and first time I traveled internationally.
I loved every minute of it! Amanda has a wonderful way of making everyone feel special and important! Every detail and the little surprises are just part of what makes the retreats so memorable!
The women I met on the trip were so incredible! I found a genuine connection with these women! We laughed and cried as we shared our lives with each other!

I have now completed my fifth Illuminare Retreat with Amanda and I already have plans to sign up for more. It is evident in her attention to details that she really cares about her attendees and goes above and beyond to provide the best curated experiences for all the women. The retreat homes have been breathtaking. The restaurants and food selections (with generous amounts of wine) have been delicious. The tours have been engaging. The surprises each day kept me guessing what she had up her sleeve for us. It's so nice to turn off planning mode and trust that I will be taken care of, eat great food, be treated to unexpected experiences, and above all, have wonderful conversations and connections with other women I will carry with me for a long time to come! Thanks again Amanda! Until my next retreat with you! :)
