Seriously, one of the best weeks! 🇮🇪 West Cork, Ireland is absolutely stunning, and our stay at Dunowen House was incredible. The accommodations, food, and entire experience exceeded my expectations. Amanda truly thinks of every little detail when planning these retreats, which makes it so easy to just relax, enjoy, and take it all in. I absolutely loved all of the activities, exploring beautiful West Cork, and especially meeting so many wonderful new friends along the way. I can’t recommend this experience enough and am already looking forward to my next retreat in the spring! 💚

The retreat to Croatia with Amanda was AMAZING! The retreat house was beautiful, we had a great view of the Adriatic Sea. The meals at our retreat home were delicious, and Diana, our morning coffee and breakfast guru was the best! All of our excursions were so much fun, I’m not sure which was my favorite; the day on the Sea with two yachts or our oyster and wine tasting??!! Both were amazing. This was my second retreat and going to the Scottish Highlands in September 2027 with my daughter.

Thoroughly enjoyable, as always. I loved this deep dive into some of the most stunning parts of County Cork, her people, history and culture. And what a treat to stay at Dunowen where Kela and Stephen have managed to create a true country haven near the Atlantic while maintaining much of its rock and roll past. The food prepared by Sarah was as pleasing to the eyes as it was to the palate; friends who saw my photos exclaimed that they “certainly never ate like that when THEY were in Ireland”! Our driver Dave was a delight each day but especially as he serenaded us one night in the local pub. I won’t neglect to mention the signature surprise excursions that await one willing to trust the process on an Illuminare retreat: like touring a castle undergoing renovations then lunching with the owner in his current home (the castle’s former keep) while tasting his recently released gin - say what!? In short, no stone was left unturned in making this week one unforgettable experience. If you haven’t yet traveled with Amanda, I urge you to not sleep on the next one (just don’t take my spot!).

My most recent trip with Illuminare to Southern Croatia exceeded every expectation I had. The people, the food, the excursions, the incredible history, the Game of Thrones filming locations, and the charming B&B accommodations all combined to create an unforgettable experience. There truly are no words to fully describe how beautiful and wonderful this journey was. What made the trip even more special were the amazing women who shared this experience with me. The sense of peace, acceptance, and safety I felt with this group is something that is rare and difficult to find. Being able to open up, be myself, and connect so deeply with others was a gift I will always treasure. Amanda’s dedication and attention to detail are unmatched. The time, effort, and genuine care she puts into every aspect of the trip make you feel welcomed, valued, and loved from the moment you arrive. Her passion for creating meaningful experiences shines through in everything she does. Southern Croatia captured my heart, and this trip left me with memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

Unsure on where to start, as it was everything and more. I brought our only child Gina to experience Illuminare magic. She is 27, and should know that are experiences like this to feed your soul and help move you forward as you grow. Unparalleled accommodations, Maison Salix was a whole experience unto itself. One word Huego. Little Ritz and his slice of heaven (those egg iykyk). Everything Amanda exposed us to, was a unique slice of heaven. Wicker!!! A balm to a tired soul, the grace of strong, intelligent women, who provided room for laughter, singing, & love. Thank you, again, Amanda, you're more "priceless" than a Mastercard commercial 😂
