These retreats were born out of a love of crafting once-in-a-lifetime style experiences abroad for women.

This was truly a trip of a lifetime! Amanda created so many jaw dropping experiences from the amazing villa to an opera singer. She really thinks of everything. The little personal touches were very appreciated. The tours were informative and fun. The food was fantastic. I had the best time! Thank you, Amanda!

My stay at the Villa Cetinale was beyond anything I could have imagined. From the moment I arrived, it felt like a private slice of paradise tucked into the rolling hills of Tuscany.
What made the trip unforgettable were the daily surprises. Every morning felt like a little moment of magic finding out what was in store for the day.
I can't express how much joy this trip brought me. The Villa didn't just give us a place to stay...it created memories, moments, and surprises I'll never forget.

I just completed my 6th Illuminare Retreat with Amanda, and cannot wait for my next. Amanda is so talented and is the true heart of the magic behind Illuminare Retreats. She goes out of her way to delight retreat attendees and deliver personalized surprises and experiences to make you feel as if you are the most important guest, because you are. We all are. I say after every retreat that Amanda draws the best people, and she truly does. The connections you make with fellow retreat attendees can be just as special as the retreat itself, which is a gift that can extend indefinitely. Each experience Amanda curates for a retreat is intentional and personalized, and she has a way of finding the best of the best vineyard owners, restauranteurs, family businesses, and artists that help us slow down and recognize the beauty all around us, no matter how big or small. I will be a lifelong Illuminare attendee, and cannot give a higher recommendation. Book the trip, you won't regret it.

The Cotswolds retreat was my first retreat and first time I traveled internationally.
I loved every minute of it! Amanda has a wonderful way of making everyone feel special and important! Every detail and the little surprises are just part of what makes the retreats so memorable!
The women I met on the trip were so incredible! I found a genuine connection with these women! We laughed and cried as we shared our lives with each other!
Amanda, thank you for sharing your wonderful gift of bringing women together in beautiful places!
This was my first but won’t be my last retreat with Amanda! This trip is in the top 10 moments of my life! Don’t hesitate to go on an Illuminare retreat!

I have now completed my fifth Illuminare Retreat with Amanda and I already have plans to sign up for more. It is evident in her attention to details that she really cares about her attendees and goes above and beyond to provide the best curated experiences for all the women. The retreat homes have been breathtaking. The restaurants and food selections (with generous amounts of wine) have been delicious. The tours have been engaging. The surprises each day kept me guessing what she had up her sleeve for us. It's so nice to turn off planning mode and trust that I will be taken care of, eat great food, be treated to unexpected experiences, and above all, have wonderful conversations and connections with other women I will carry with me for a long time to come! Thanks again Amanda! Until my next retreat with you! :)
